Today after, around 7:00 A.M. people from so many countries were facing issues in sending attachments through mails. Moreover, Google Drives were also not getting uploaded as well as downloaded. So, that’s why thousands of people from different countries were left unable to connect properly to the Gmail and Google Drive. But finally, the issues are resolved now, the Gmail and Google Drive are back online without any crashes.
From the sources, it has been noted that this problem affected people from all across the globe. But there were large concentrations of issues in Europe and Australia. However, the reasons for this crash of mails are unknown yet but thankfully the issues are resolved now. Let’s have a deep discussion on this topic. Outage tracker site Down Detector started picking up the problems at around 7:24 A.M. in the morning. As soon as the issues started to came out, people started tweeting about the crashes of mail on Google.
Probing further, there were so many different types of issues being faced by the people. But of all the problems, the majority was related to the attaching of items on Google. This problem of attachments was being faced by around 61% of the population. Whereas around 22% of people were stuck struggling while log-in and around 15% were facing issues to receive messages. Furthermore, on Google Drive, the main issue was of file syncing and many others were also reported. Google says that the root cause is still not known by the company but we will try to find about this soon.
However, people in the morning were very much confused and worried about these issues. But Google asked them to keep calm and at around 3:00 P.M. in noon the issues got resolved. Everything started to work smoothly and after this Google said that the issues are resolved now.
